Danielle Mead
Founder Danielle Mead began her career at WhatsHotNow.com (WHN) where she developed her passion for customer satisfaction as a call center rep, resolving customer issues for the official online stores of blockbuster movies and television shows. Her can-do attitude soon earned her a promotion to Online Store Manager, where she managed the buying of product, copywriting and analytics for MTV, 20th Century Fox, Frank Sinatra and other entertainment client stores.

After a brief stint promoting XM Satellite Radio prior to the service's launch in Southern California, Mead landed at Teleflora, where she oversaw email marketing for the company's Flower Club website partners. That expertise soon earned her a position at Shoes.com, a leading footwear etailer and now-subsidiary of Brown Shoe Company.

Over the course of five years, Mead grew the footwear etailer's online marketing programs, performed web analytics, developed partnerships, managed the implementation of new website features and oversaw the website's usability and customer experience. As Senior Director of Customer Acquisition & Retention, she supervised a team of six online marketers with a multi-million-dollar budget that consistently delivered an ROI of more than 400%.

In her personal time, Mead developed several websites including LA4Beginners.com, an insider's guide to visiting and living in Los Angeles, and NextCarFinder.com, a car-buying recommendation service.

Danielle Mead attended Vassar College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music and a minor in women's studies.
